You have a building to document and a Revit model to deliver. We scan the space, register the point cloud, and model it discipline by discipline to the level of development your project calls for. You get a coordinated Revit model built to the real geometry, plus the registered cloud in the formats your team already works in. Send us a scan you already have, or have us capture it. Either way the deliverable is a model you can build from.

How does a point cloud become a Revit model?

The path is the same whether we capture the scan or you send us one. First the raw scans are registered, cleaned, and indexed. Revit links RCP and RCS files, so an E57 or LAS cloud is indexed in ReCap first. Revit 2025 and later also import E57 directly. Then a modeler traces the building one discipline at a time, walls and structure first, then architecture, then MEP, keeping every element snapped to the measured points. Finally the model is checked back against the source cloud so what we hand you matches the building that stands.

Every wall, beam, duct, and pipe modeled against the measured points, discipline by discipline, to the agreed LOD.

What level of detail do you actually need?

Level of development sets how much a modeled element commits to. A higher LOD means more accuracy and more modeling hours, so the right call is the level your downstream use requires, not the highest number on the scale. Tell us what the model is for and we map it to an LOD.

Which formats do you get back?

The model comes to you in the format your team runs. RVT for Revit, IFC for open BIM exchange, DWG for CAD, NWD for Navisworks coordination. Alongside it you get the registered point cloud in E57, the ASTM E2807 open standard every scanner reads, plus LAS for analysis and RCP for direct Revit linking. One capture, delivered in the files your workflow already takes.

Capture is the scan itself. Modeling is priced by area, and the rate reflects a standard LOD; a higher LOD or dense MEP raises the modeling scope, so we confirm the number once we know the building and the level you need. Already have a registered cloud? We price the modeling alone. Tell us the square footage and the target LOD and we quote it.
