About ScanningAndModeling
Who does your scan
We are a reality-capture company. We scan buildings, sites, and objects, and we turn that capture into the drawings and models you can actually build from. We work nationwide, so you get one team to call whether the project is down the street or across the country.
Most people who reach out do not know exactly which deliverable they need, and that is fine. You tell us what you are trying to do. We figure out the right way to capture it, and we hand you a 2D drawing, a 3D or Revit model, a point cloud, or a Matterport walkthrough that fits the job.
The experience behind it
Real field time, not a rented scanner
This work is run by people who have spent years on job sites with the hardware. We came up on FARO and NavVis equipment, capturing everything from residential renovations to industrial plants, and we know the difference between a scan that looks impressive and one an engineer can actually work from.
A Matterport walkthrough measures to roughly 20 mm. A survey-grade terrestrial scan measures to 2 to 4 mm. Both get sold as a "3D scan," and they are not the same deliverable. Knowing which one your project needs, and being honest when the cheaper option is the right one, is most of the job.
Our standard
We stand behind what we hand you
Every job ships with more than a single file. You get the field photos, the observation notes, and a cleaned, registered point cloud, so you can see exactly what was captured and how. We check the finished deliverable against the accuracy your project calls for before it reaches you. If it does not meet the spec, it does not go out.
We also recommend the right method for your project, even when that means a $600 Matterport instead of a $30,000 model. The point is that you get what the work actually requires, priced up front, with no surprises when the invoice lands.

Open a real deliverable
These are live deliverables from real projects, not portfolio mockups. Open one and inspect it yourself.
Tell us about your project
Describe what you need scanned in plain words. Translating that into the right deliverable is our job.
