A terrestrial scanner captures a space to roughly two to four millimeters, dense enough that walls, slabs, structure, and systems all read at true size and position. Capture is quick, often a single visit, and the registered cloud becomes the shared reference every trade designs and coordinates against. Scanning open, before ceilings and walls close, is when it earns the most, because that is when the hidden conditions are still visible.
The scan turns into whatever the job needs: 2D drawings for permitting and estimating, a BIM model for coordination, or the raw cloud for your own team.
