Denver builds rockets, brews beer, and keeps its oldest brick warehouses standing.
Colorado holds one of the largest aerospace economies in the country, and most of it clusters around Denver. The same metro runs a dense base of craft breweries and food and beverage plants, process floors packed with tanks, lines, and equipment. And in Lower Downtown, the protected LoDo district preserves block after block of late-1800s brick warehouses that now hold offices, restaurants, and lofts. Precision at one end, process floors in the middle, and irreplaceable masonry at the other. A point-cloud scan serves all three, because each one starts with knowing exactly what is there.
Process floors and precision facilities live on as-built accuracy.
A brewery or a food plant is one of the hardest interiors to document by hand. Tanks, catwalks, glycol and process piping, and packaging lines fill the space in three dimensions, and any expansion or new line has to fit around equipment that is already running. A laser scan captures the whole floor as a point cloud, so a new fermenter, conveyor, or process skid can be routed against the real geometry before anything is fabricated. From that capture we build coordinated scan-to-BIM models and clean interior documentation of the plant.
Aerospace and advanced manufacturing raise the bar again. When a fixture, tooling, or a facility layout has to match design intent closely, the scan becomes a measurement record, and the same point cloud supports tight coordination for the mechanical and structural systems around it.
A warehouse or process slab has to be flat before it earns its keep.
Denver's logistics and industrial belt keeps growing, and so does the equipment that rolls across those floors. Racking, lift trucks, and automation all depend on a slab that holds its plane, and a polished process floor shows every wave under the finish. Rather than reading a few lines with a rolling profiler, our floor flatness analysis scans the whole slab and turns it into a flatness and levelness heat map, so a low bay or a ridge is visible before racks go up or a topping goes down.
That full-floor record is useful as an as-built and as evidence. When a floor gets rejected or a finish fails, the map shows exactly where and how far off the slab is.
LoDo's brick warehouses are protected for a reason.
Lower Downtown is a designated historic district, and its late-1800s brick and heavy-timber warehouses come with real constraints on what can change and how. Before an architect reworks one of these buildings, the existing masonry, structure, and detail have to be recorded accurately, both to design the renovation and to document what is being preserved. Our historic preservation scanning captures the LoDo building whole, and the same point cloud carries into a scan-to-BIM model for the design team.
