What does a manufacturer do with a part and no model?
A furniture maker or a precision shop in West Michigan often has a physical part, a legacy tool, or a fixture that has to be reproduced, improved, or checked, and no usable CAD to work from. A high-resolution scan turns the real object into accurate geometry. Our reverse engineering takes that scan and rebuilds it as a clean, editable model, so a discontinued component, a worn tool, or a legacy design can be remade or updated without guessing at the dimensions.
When the question is whether a part matches its design, our dimensional inspection compares the as-built geometry against the model and reports where it deviates, which is how a manufacturer proves a run, qualifies a supplier, or diagnoses a fit problem before it reaches the line.
The Medical Mile keeps renovating, and renovation needs accurate as-builts.
Hospitals and research buildings along the Michigan Street corridor are among the hardest structures to modify. Above the ceiling runs a maze of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and medical-gas systems, and any renovation or expansion has to fit into space that is already full. A laser scan captures the true above-ceiling and floor conditions, so the design team routes new systems against reality rather than against out-of-date drawings. Our building and interior scanning documents the existing conditions, and the same capture feeds coordinated scan-to-BIM models that keep a healthcare renovation on schedule.
